My Thoughts: It has been way too damn long since JBos put out a boook and I’m absolutely dying to get my hands on it. Her first novel was amazing, and surprised me in so many ways. I can’t wait for this one.

The Siren by Kiera Cass

Falling in love with a human breaks the Ocean’s rules. But for the first time in a lifetime of following the rules, Kahlen is determined to follow her heart.

Release Date: January 26th, 2016

My Thoughts: Kiera Cass is amazing and I can’t wait to read this. I know she originally self published and I’m a terrible person because I never read it but now that its being officially published, I can’t wait to read it. Its not really my thing, sirens, that sort of thing, but I didn’t think I’d like The Selection either so there’s that.

For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Release Date: January 11th, 2016

My Thoughts: I absolutely LOVED The Deal and The Mistake. Elle Kennedy writes amazing books and I’ve watched Dean for quite some time so I can’t wait to read his story. I’m dying. Its only days away and I’m already so so so excited.

My Thoughts: I think Suzanne Young is just an absolutely fabulous writer and this book sounds AMAZING. It sounds dark and romantic and just absolutely fabulous. Richelle Mead takes readers on a triumphant journey from the peak of Fei’s jagged mountain village to the valley of Beiugo, where a startling truth and an unlikely romance will change her life forever…

Release Date: November 10, 2015

My Thoughts: One, I love that this is a sort of different mythology and heritage that we are approaching in YA. We don’t enough Chinese or Japanese or any Asian stuff as much as we could so I’m excited to dive into that because those mythologies and cultures are just so deep and rich and compelling. Two, this is Richelle Mead, who is one of my absolute favorites and I love her style of writing and I love her storytelling. I have such high hopes for this book :)

Leveled by Jay Crownover

Saints of Denver 0.5

Orlando Frederick knows what it is to be leveled by pain. Instead of focusing on his own, he’s made it his mission to help others: sports stars, wounded war vets, survivors of all kinds. But when Dom, a rugged, damaged, sinfully attractive cop, makes his way into Lando’s physical therapy practice, he might be the biggest challenge yet. Lando loved one stubborn man before and barely survived the fallout. He’s not sure he can do it again.

Dominic Voss is a protector. The police badge he wears is not only his job, it’s his identity, so when he’s sidelined because of an injury, the only thing he cares about is getting back on the force. He expects Lando to mend his body, he just doesn’t realize the trainer will also have him working toward a hell of a lot more. As attraction simmers and flares, Dom sees that Lando needs repair of his own…if only the man will let him close enough to mend what’s broken.

Release Date: November 2nd, 2015

My Thoughts: I am so excited for the Saints of Denver series so when Jay announced that the first one would be this novella about Orlando and Dominic, I died. I love both of those characters SO damn much AND I love me a really good M/M story. I have a feeling that Jay’s M/M is just going to absolutely BLOW my mind and I can’t wait to get my hands on this…in hopefully a few hours when it downloads onto my Kindle app!

6. Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen

23009402

Come on, its Sarah Dessen. Sign me up every single time. Her last few releases haven’t been, well, fabulous but she’s a great writer, period so I’m excited for her new book nonetheless. 4. Revenge, Ice Cream and Other Things Best Served Cold by Katie Finn

22019274

And yet another book that I have already read. I absolutely adore Katie Finn and I swear it has NOTHING (okay maybe a little something) to do with the fact that I love love love Morgan Matson ;) Her Broken Hearts and Revenge series is SO fun, like a summer teen drama where you’re basically waiting on the edge of your seat for things to just EXPLODE. 10. The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson

17412895

The third installment of the series, price and I’ve been waiting for it for so long. I feel like I’ve been waiting for so so so long for this book that I absolutely need to reread the first two books to remember what the hell is supposed to be going on in the third book.

Release Date: February 10th, 2015

9. Dead to Me by Mary McCoy

18460455

I am so excited for this debut novel…I think its my most anticipated debut novel of the year. I absolutely adore Mary, she’s a librarian for the Los Angeles Public Library and has always been a dear friend and supporter of me and this blog, and I can’t wait for her book. Its set in the 1940s, amidst the glitz and glamour of the film age and it sounds deliciously thrilling. I can’t WAIT.

Release Date: March 3rd, 2015

8. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord

22429350

I am so so excited for this new novel by Emery Lord. I had NO idea who she was until she was on a panel with…I think Stephanie Perkins at the Festival of Books and I just loved everything about her. She has a fresh teen voice and a total knack for addicting romance and I can’t wait for this one. Max sounds amazing.

Release Date: March 31st, 2015

7. I Was Here by Gayle Forman

18879761

Gayle Forman is a QUEEN of contemporary YA lit. She blows my mind with everything that she writes, especially Just One Day/Just One Year (which were optioned for film!!). I’m VERY excited for a brand new release from her, especially since the synopsis makes it sound like another emotional roller coaster. Oh Gayle.

Release Date: January 27th, 2015

6. Salt and Stone by Victoria Scott

Salt & Stone Hardcover

This one would be much lower on the list but I’m spoiled as hell and I already read it and know how absolutely amazing it is. Its a truly heartbreaking.

Releases: February 24th, 2015

5. Fairest by Marissa Meyer

22489107

I know! A novella on the list. For those that don’t know me, I’m usually not a massive fan of novellas, and find most of them are unnecessary. But…but…I think Fairest is going to be spectacular. One, because Marissa Meyer is a fantastic writer. Two, Levana is SUCH a mystery and maybe some of this will shed a little light, and maybe it’ll open up new possibilities for Winter. Either way, I’m excited for it.

Release Date: January 27th, 2015

4. Invaded by Melissa Landers

17316770

This is another winter release that I’ve already read. And one that I totally absolutely love. But I think I’m really excited about this because I KNOW how good it is and I get to meet her this year! 22466277

I mean. Duh. I want my hands on this book so badly. I’ve been trying to get my hands on an ARC of this thing for MONTHS and have not been able to do that. I am dying for this book. Every single thing about this book sounds amazing and Andrew is an incredible author. When I interviewed him last year and he described the book as “It’s about a ship that gets stuck in ice, a fifteen-year-old kid, a schizophrenic who thinks he can speak to Joseph Stalin, a summer camp for kids who are addicted to technology, the de-extinction of a species of crow, and there’s a bigfoot in there, too. You know…the typical stuff.” Come on. I’m sold.

Release Date: March 10th, 2015

2. Unchanged by Jessica Brody

9791910

I’M DYING TO READ THIS BOOK. I need to know what happens next. Unforgotten left on such a crazy, heartbreaking, emotional note and I’m dying to see what happens next for Sera and Zen and Kaelen. Release Date: February 24th, 2015

1. The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead

8709528

Yes. Please. More Adrian Ivashkov. Oh and of course Sydney too. But definitely Adrian. And after that ending in Silver Shadows, I basically wanted to scream, get in a car and drive up to Richelle’s house and demand that she tell me everything that was going to happen next. Luckily, I’m a patient girl (ha!) and its nearly upon us to find out the ending to this fantastic series! AND I’m finally going to meet Richelle! AGH
